Junk Journal Meetup - Weekly Free Craft Club - June 6

Led by craft staff Nichole!

Come hang for inclusive, accessibility friendly craft hang time through junk journaling, with access to tons of vintage and retro ephemera, art + collage tools, spicy collage magazines, and soooo much more! Feel free to bring your own projects or start a new beginner one here as well! Projects and supply availability will rotate and be limited so if there’s something you’re hoping to have on hand bring it with!

Our monthly Junk Journal Club Leader is Nichole Foxhoven! 

Come hang with one of our very first customers who has been a friend and supporter of Glitter Factory DSM since it began!  Nikki is a librarian, avid reader, and weird ephemera enthusiast! She also went to high school with our owner and has been a supporter of all things creative in DSM forever! We’re so lucky to have her every first Monday of every month running our Junk Journal Meetup!

FREE BUT MUST BE 14+:
All Monday clubs are 14+ to keep the energy focused on learning and meeting new humans with the same interests!  If there’s anything in particular you’d like to see more of, let us know! We’ll be taking more polls and adding more going into summer!

WHAT TO BRING: 
No supplies required - we'll have everything you need! That being said you're welcome to bring your fav stuff to show off or share! We have everything you'll need for collage if you'd like to work on projects! We also have hundreds of vintage and 
 
You're welcome to bring food + bev but don't worry about anything else unless you have something specific you'd like to use in your project.

LOCATION + WHAT TO EXPECT:

501 SW 7th Suite M, Des Moines, IA 50309
3 blocks south of the Science Center on SW 7th 

Our building is ADA accessible and we're able to accomodate most needs - please let us know in advance if there's anything you may need assistance with or an accommodation for! We design our workshops with accessibility down to about a 3rd grade level but absolutely happy to help adjust to meet any need!
